Some journeys are so memorable that you cannot stop sharing your experiences with others. Hi, my name is Ajay Dhoundiyal , I am AFC- C certificate holder, working with Max Sports Academy (MSA) as U-13 football coach and this is story of my journey to the La Liga Land ‘Spain’. I joined MSA in 2018 and since then I have got twice lucky to be sent on a foreign tour as a Team manager. My Previous journey was 15 days long but this time i was on 40 days long training camp cum Trials for a 4th Division football club in Granada, Spain
The Beginning
The excitement began with unexpected schengen visa approval and sudden booking of my flight tickets. With all hustle and bustle around me, I still managed to reach New Delhi IGI airport on time for the flight to Madrid. It was on 6th Feb 2020, that we all landed at Madrid Int’l Airport after 8 hour long flight. Tired, sleepy, cold but excited, we all cleared the immigration and walked towards the exit door of the Airport. Carrying all the luggage and weight of the excitement on us, we stepped out of the unexpectedly small airport and took a bus to Granada.
Where is Granada ?
Granada’ is in southern part of Spain with snow capped Mountains. It is also the home to La Liga first Division Team ‘Granada FC’ and also for FC Cubillas which is MSA’s partner football club in Spain. Our road journey to Granada was comfortable, exciting, full of beautiful sceneries and surreal landscapes. Courtesy to the outside view throughout, It was the shortest 6 hours journey I ever experienced. Upon reaching, we were warmly welcomed by FC Cubillas management and were taken to the residential facility to eat and rest.
Well the tour has kept me all amazed so far and it doesn’t end here. I will continue writing in Part-2
